Lleva Bienestar pensión a adultos mayores en Cherán

Cherán, Michoacán a 19 de junio de 2019.- Con el compromiso de apoyar a los sectores más necesitados en el estado, la Secretaría del Bienestar en Michoacán llevó a cabo la entrega de la Pensión para el Bienestar de las Personas Adultas Mayores en Cherán.

Este sector es prioridad para el Presidente de México, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, expresó Roberto Pantoja Arzola, Delegado de los Programas Federales para el Bienestar en la entidad, quien agradeció a quienes hacen posible la realización y entrega de los apoyos del Gobierno de la República.

“Se está cumpliendo con una de las propuestas del Presidente, se está atendiendo a uno de los grupos más vulnerables. Este programa se incrementa de manera importante en el estado, de los 251 mil que se atendían en Michoacán, se van a incorporar 360 mil adultos más”, informó.

En dicho municipio, un total de 489 adultos mayores recibieron un apoyo económico de $2, 550 pesos bimestrales, como reconocimiento del esfuerzo que han hecho a lo largo de su vida.

Pantoja Arzola señaló que existen programas sociales que beneficiarán  a las comunidades indígenas, como son: Becas Benito Juárez en su modalidad de Jóvenes Escribiendo el Futuro, Sembrando Vida y Jóvenes Construyendo el Futuro, mismos que marcarán la diferencia en estas localidades para el desarrollo del estado.

Al evento acudieron Patricia Hernández, Ma. Albertina Sánchez y Manuel Bautista, integrantes del Consejo Mayor; Rafael Hernández Rubio, Jefe Regional de Zacapu; Dante Aguilar Huarte, Coordinador de Bansefi y Antonio Madriz Estrada, Diputado Local y Presidente de la Comisión de Educación del Congreso del Estado.
