- Fue organizado por estudiantes de la UCLA
Apatzingán, Mich., a 01 de agosto de 2019.- En apoyo a las acciones emprendidas por jóvenes estudiantes de la Universidad Contemporánea de las Américas (UCLA), el presidente municipal, José Luis Cruz Lucatero, participó en una jornada de reforestación en la parte alta de la avenida Joaquín Amaro, donde se tienen prevista la siembra de 400 árboles.
En el lugar y ante estudiantes y funcionarios que participaron en la reforestación, el alcalde dijo que el planeta está sufriendo estragos de la contaminación y la deforestación, por lo que acciones que contribuyan a mejorar el entorno ecológico, son tarea de todos.
Celebró que los jóvenes hagan conciencia y realicen este tipo de jornadas en beneficio del planeta, “pues si seguimos como vamos, no tardaremos muchos años en sufrir una gran calamidad, debemos todos tomar parte de estas actividades que generarán un gran impacto en la ecología”.
Expuso que al gobierno municipal, le compete apoyar y respaldar este tipo de actividades que son organizadas por instituciones como la UCLA, “a través de nuestros regidores y funcionarios, siempre estaremos al pendiente de la reforestación, la limpieza y todos los proyectos que quieran mejorar el medio ambiente”.
Por su parte la estudiante de la UCLA y representante de todos los alumnos involucrados en el proyecto de reforestación, Dulce María Martínez, señaló que los jóvenes quieren un planeta sano, por lo que invitó a las personas de todas las edades a que se sumen a la siembra de arbolitos en sus colonias.
