- El monto asignado para la obra aprovado por la Federación es por el orden de los 6 mdp.
Apatzingán, Mich., a 18 de septiembre de 2019.- El proyecto ejecutivo de la presa El Sandoval, fue aprobado por la federación, con un monto asignado de 6 millones de pesos, por lo que la construcción de dicho embalse en el municipio, será una realidad, informó el presidente municipal, José Luis Cruz Lucatero.
En rueda de prensa y acompañado por el secretario de Obras Públicas, Juan Carlos Sánchez Pardo, el alcalde destacó que la presa que tendría un costo total de 400 millones de pesos, beneficiaría a las comunidades de El Sandoval, La Quiringuca, La Cofradía y San José Nuevo, en donde se irrigarían hasta mil 200 hectáreas.
Expuso que en dicha zona, las familias viven de la siembra de ajonjolí y sorgo, principalmente, “estamos hablando de que teniendo esta presa, podrían generar hasta tres cosechas al año, lo que detonaría la economía de la zona rural y por supuesto nos beneficiaría en la ciudad también”.
Agregó que es una obra en la que insistió desde que asumió las riendas del municipio, “hicimos un recorrido por el lugar, con personal de la Comisión Nacional del Agua y ahora vemos cristalizado el proyecto, con la aprobación del mismo”.
Dijo desconocer el tiempo en que podría ejecutarse la obra, pues ello dependerá de la cantidad de recursos que por año, asignen las autoridades federales, “pero estamos muy complacidos de que nos hayan aceptado el proyecto, esto significan que las cosas van por buen camino”, concluyó el alcalde.
