Nueva Italia Mpio. de Mugica, Michoacan, a 13 de septiembre del 2019.- El presidente municipal, Raymundo Arreola Ortega, encabezó esta mañana el acto cívico conmemorativo al 172 aniversario de la Batalla de Chapultepec, en las instalaciones del auditorio municipal.
Ante alumnos de diversos planteles de nivel primaria y hasta medio superior, quienes contestaron Murió por la patria! Arreola Ortega dio el pase de lista de los héroes: Juan Escutia, Juan de la Barrera, Francisco Montes de Oca, Vicente Suárez, Francisco Márquez, y Agustín Melgar.
Este acto cívico lo organizó la escuela primaria Urbana Federal, 17 de Noviembre; y la alumna, Luz Yadira Cervantes Carranza, fue la oradora oficial, quien expresó, que el 13 de septiembre de 1847, los niños héroes defendieron con su vida el Castillo de Chapultepec de la invasión norteamericana.
