Apatzingán, Mich., a 18 de septiembre de 2019.- La coordinación Municipal de Protección Civil y Cruz Roja, entregaron al secretario del Ayuntamiento, José Luis Torres González, el plan de trabajo que se implementará el día de hoy ante la posible llegada de la tormenta tropical “Lorena”, pues esta podría generar afectaciones en el municipio.
El coordinador municipal de Protección Civil y Bomberos, Fernando Barrera Solís, expuso que es importante que la población acate las recomendaciones de la dependencia, con la finalidad de evitar alguna tragedia.
El responsable de Gestión de Riesgos de la Coordinación Municipal de Protección Civil, Bonifacio Tapia, destacó que las principales recomendaciones son que las familias tengan un plan de protección civil, es decir, que se comuniquen las alternativas que pueden tener en caso de resultar afectados en sus hogares; que reporten todo al 9-1-1; guardar los documentos importantes en una bolsa de plástico y localizar los albergues habilitados para la atención de damnificados, que son la Casa San Pablo, Catedral y la unidad deportiva “Adolfo López Mateos”.
Expuso en ese sentido que se espera una tormenta eléctrica a partir de las 14:00 horas y lluvias a partir de las 19:00 horas, la cual podría cesar hasta las 11:00 horas del 19 de septiembre.
De igual manera señaló que las colonias que podrían tener mayores afectaciones son la Apatzingán, Antorcha Campesina, Morelos y La Joyita.
El secretario del Ayuntamiento, José Luis Torres González, invitó a la población a asumir las recomendaciones giradas por Protección Civil Municipal, “pues se trata de nuestra integridad física y del bienestar de nuestras familias”.
