Por unanimidad el alcalde, José Luis Cruz Lucatero y los regidores aprobaron el POA 2020, en que se contempla el presupuesto con el que operarán todas las áreas del Ayuntamiento, el próximo año.
De igual manera se aprobó el presupuesto de ingresos y egresos, plantilla de personal, tabulador de sueldos y las modificaciones que se autoricen durante el próximo año a los mismos, así como el programa anual de obra pública del Comité de Agua Potable y Alcantarillado del Municipio de Apatzingán.
Asimismo también por unanimidad fue aprobado el programa de trabajo municipal de promoción a la salud para el periodo 2018-2021, el cual incluye una serie de proyectos prioritarios en materia de salud, como violencia, embarazo en la adolescencia, enfermedades transmitidas por vector, accidentes y adicciones.
