APATZINGAN, MICH., 11 DE MARZO DE 2020.- Sin estabilizarse la Temporada de Mango 2020, pues en este momento no hay buen precio para la fruta de exportación, por lo que la mayor parte del volumen que se está comercializando ahora, esta destinándose al mercado nacional dijo el líder nacional y estatal de los mangueros Xavier Chávez Contreras.
Dio a conocer que de febrero a la fecha solo se han exportado alrededor de mil 200 toneladas de mango a la unión americana, pues debido a la falta de precio, en este momento no ha sido tan atractivo el exportar ya que el último precio que se tuvo fue de 12 y 10 pesos el kilo.
Dijo que en el mercado nacional se les estaba pagando hasta a 20 pesos el kilo de mango punteado y por esto es que el mayor volumen de fruta comercializado durante esta temporada ha sido precisamente para el mercado nacional.
Finalmente, a pregunta expresa señalo, que no será hasta después del 20 de marzo en que se regularice la exportación de mango a los mercados internacionales, pues es hasta este periodo cuando se espera un repunte en el precio del producto que se envía a los Estados Unidos, Canada, y algunos países de Asia y Europa.
