El Gobierno Municipal de Buenavista que preside el Dr. Gordiano Zepeda Chávez, continúa fortaleciendo las estrategias para la prevención del COVID-19 y de este modo contribuir a que el municipio siga con cero casos de la enfermedad, parte de ello es las continuas evaluaciones en el comportamiento de la enfermedad, así como estrategia impulsada para que a través de la página de Facebook del Ayuntamiento se publicaran directorio de establecimientos comerciales a través de los cuales lo alimentos se soliciten sin tener que salir de casa, con lo que se está apoyando tanto al sector comercio como a la población para que puedan quedarse en sus hogares, medida que reconocen autoridades de salud como una acertada decisión de parte de la autoridad municipal.
Durante esta emergencia sanitaria, en Buenavista se apoya a través de programas de alimentación a los sectores más vulnerables
Como parte del trabajo para apoyar a la comunidad, los servidores públicos al mando del Dr. Gordiano Zepeda Alcalde Buenavistense también se han sumado a apoyar a los sectores más vulnerables aportando alimentos que posteriormente se distribuyen en despensas a los sectores más vulnerables con lo que se refuerzan programas de alimentación como el de Michoacán Alimenta cuyos víveres se distribuyen a las familias que más lo requieren con el apoyo de elementos policiacos.
Elementos de PC reciben capacitación sobre prevención, manejo de pacientes, protección y limpieza de ambulancias
En este contexto y como parte de las acciones encaminadas a enfrentar esta pandemia, los elementos adscritos a la coordinación municipal de Protección Civil del Municipio recibieron capacitación por parte de la Cruz Roja Mexicana, en el tema de prevención, limpieza de ambulancias y protección del personal de PC.

En esta época en la que por primera ocasión no se podrá festejar a las reinas del hogar este 10 de mayo el Ayuntamiento de Buenavista festejara a las madrecitas de manera virtual por ello ha puesto en marcha una especie de concurso para que a través del hashtag #AmoAMiMama, se publiquen imágenes demostrando nuestro amor a mamá y las 5 fotografías con mas likes serán las ganadoras de un kit de electrodomésticos muy útiles para el hogar y posteriormente serán invitadas a comer a un restaurant.
