APATZINGAN, MICH., 18 DE ENERO DEL 2019.- En acato a lo que establece el artículo 155, párrafo 1, de la Ley General de Instituciones y Procedimientos Electorales LGIPE), las credenciales para votar que fueron tramitadas en el año de 2017 serán canceladas el último día del mes de febrero del presente año establece, por ello es importante que quienes no han concluido su trámite acudan lo antes posible a recogerlas a los módulos donde fueron tramitadas.
De acuerdo a lo expresado por el licenciado José Manuel López Estrada, vocal del RFE, en el mencionado artículo del LEGIPE, se establece, que las solicitudes de trámite realizadas por los ciudadanos que no cumplan con la obligación de acudir a la oficina o módulo del Instituto correspondiente a su domicilio a obtener su credencial para votar con fotografía, a más tardar el último día de febrero del segundo año posterior a aquel en que se hayan presentado, serán canceladas y el ciudadano tendrá que acudir nuevamente a solicitar su incorporación al padrón electoral.
Subrayo, que a la fecha se tienen 120 credenciales pendientes de ser obtenidas por sus titulares, las credenciales para votar que fueron tramitadas en el año de 2017 y de darse la omisión de su obtención, las credenciales serán destruidas y el registro cancelado.
