Apatzingán, Mich., a 21 de enero de 2019.- Como parte de las acciones que realiza la Secretaría de Salud, para la detección del cáncer de mama, fue instalado un mastógrafo móvil en el parque Palmira, donde se dará atención gratuita a las mujeres de entre 40 y 69 años de edad.
Al respecto el jefe de la Jurisdicción Sanitaria número 7, Noé Jaimes Plascencia, informó que la unidad móvil estará en el lugar hasta el 1 de febrero, sin embargo, el periodo podría ampliarse de acuerdo a la demanda que se tenga por parte de la población femenil.
En ese sentido dijo que se tiene una meta de 70 mastografías diariamente, por ño que invitó a las mujeres a realizarse el estudio, a través del que pueden detectar el cáncer de mama.
Expuso que las mujeres que deseen practicarse el estudio deben contar con la edad requerida, además de llevar su ropa en dos piezas, axilas rasuradas, sin talco o desodorante, además de su INE y un número telefónico para ser localizadas.
Jaimes Plascencia dijo que una vez realizado el estudio, los resultados tardaría aptoximadamente un mes para llegar a Apatzingán, «aquellas mujeres que den positivo, tendrán el seguimiento adecuado, así como el tratamiento necesario para combatir la enfermedad».
