Morelia, Michoacán 21 de marzo 2019.- La Diputada de MORENA, Sandra Luz Valencia, presentó ante el Pleno del Congreso una Iniciativa de reforma al artículo 3º de la Ley Orgánica Municipal del Estado de Michoacán de Ocampo, para que al nombre de la cabecera municipal del Municipio de Apatzingán se le agregue la frase “de 1814”, y su nombre sea, Apatzingán de la Constitución de 1814.
Ello, en honor y a la memoria del Siervo de la Nación, los primeros Constituyentes Mexicanos y los apatzinguenses de aquella época, que en el año de 1814, al sancionar y promulgar la Constitución de Apatzingán, sentaron los primeros cimientos jurídicos sobre los que hoy descansa el México independiente del siglo XXI.
Al ser entrevistada al respecto, la diputada Apatzinguense declaró “es válido agregar la fecha para darle más relevancia a la noble proeza jurídica que se realizó en Apatzingán, acción que le ha permitido a mi ciudad, destacar en la geografía política universal”, finalizó la legisladora.
