SAN JUAN PARANGUARICUTIRO, 13 DE ABRIL DEL 2019.- En esta semana Santa, los días,15,16 y 17, Nuevo San Juan Parangaricutiro, ofrece a los habitantes y turistas un espectáculo de pirotecnia, único en el mundo.
Cada año, habitantes de Santa María Tultepec, Cuautitlán Izcalli, San Pedro Zumpango, Tultepec, entre otros, del Estado de México, con sus familias, se trasladan a pie y en bicicleta en peregrinación, hasta el Santuario del «Señor de los Milagros» y en su honor, para agradecer a los favores recibidos queman hasta cuatro castillos y dos piromusicales diarios, durante los primeros tres días Santos y al finalizar se premia a los creadores de los castillos más originales y lucidos.
«Esta adoración a Cristo Jesús bajo la advocación del «Señor de los Milagros» en Nuevo San Juan Parangaricutiro» por parte de familias que radican en el Estado de México y se dedican a fabricar obras de arte pirotécnico para su venta, cumple ya, cuarenta años ininterrumpidos», expresó la Diputada Local Sandra Luz Valencia al ser entrevistada sobre este evento pirotécnico que se realiza anualmente en la cabecera municipal de Nuevo San Juan Parangaricutiro y que atrae a miles de turistas, ademas de poder presenciar este espectáculo, también permite disfrutar de la gastronomía típica del municipio y adquirir diversas artesanías que se elaboran y ofrecen en el tianguis artesanal y culinario que dura los tres días de fiesta religiosa
«Invito a todos a pasear Nuevo San Juan Parangaricutiro, visitar el Santuario del Santo Patrón, a presenciar la quema de castillos y a probar y conocer la cocina y artesanías locales», concluyó la Legisladora.
