Apatzingán, Mich., a 16 de septiembre de 2019.- Con la participación de 2 mil 703 estudiantes de los niveles primaria, secundaria, preparatoria y superior, así como personal del Ejército Mexicano, se realizó el tradicional desfile cívico- militar conmemorativo del 209 Aniversario del inicio de la Independencia de México.
El presidente municipal, José Luis Cruz Lucatero, acompañado de su esposa, Minerva Guízar Brito y el general de la 43 Zona Militar, Darío Ávalos Pedraza, presenció el desfile en el que participaron diversas instituciones educativas, militares y personas de a caballo.
El desfile tuvo una duración de 58 minutos, iniciando en el Monumento a la Cultura y terminando en el Monumento al General Lázaro Cárdenas, en donde los participantes rompieron filas, luego de atravesar por la Avenida Constitución de 1814, donde fueron aplaudidos por miles de espectadores, quienes desde temprana hora abarrotaron la principal avenida de la ciudad.
