Apatzingán, Mich, 11 de marzo de 2020. – Luego de haber ocupado el lugar número 9 de las 50 ciudades más violentas de México, Apatzingán ha ido mejorando sus indicadores de seguridad al grado de que está por abandonar esa lista, reveló hoy el alcalde José Luis Cruz Lucatero.
Con base en la estadística del Observatorio Ciudadano, el edil sostuvo que nuestra ciudad está a 17 puestos de salir de ese ranking violento, pues pasó del 9o al lugar 33 en un lapso comprendido entre noviembre de 2019 a la fecha.
Ante reporteros de la fuente, Cruz Lucatero subrayó que datos. Como estos son los que hicieron posible la próxima construcción de un centro comercial y un Cinépolis en Apatzingán, pero también han despertado el interés de otros inversionistas por traer sus capitales a este municipio.
«Después de tanto sufrimiento, es hora de que a Apatzingán le empiece a ir mejor y que regrese a los niveles de bonanza económica que tuvo hace 20 o 30 años cuando fue líder mundial en la producción de algodón y el melón, y eso lo vamos a conseguir a través de la cultura y las artes, y de seguirnos ganando la confianza de los ciudadanos de dentro y fuera de esta tierra», expresó el jefe de la comuna al final de la entrevista.
