- La violencia y blindaje de los derechos políticos de las mujeres son prioridad para MORENA.
Morelia, Michoacán a 27 de agosto de 2019.- En el Salón de Recepciones, » José María Morelos y Pavón» del Congreso del Estado, se llevó a cabo la 4ta. Reunión de Trabajo, sobre la Participación Política de las Mujeres: Retos, Obstáculos y Perspectivas, con miras al Proceso Electoral 2020-2021.
El objetivo, es lograr una mayor participación activa de las mujeres en la vida política del Estado y garantizar sus derechos políticos, libres de violencia, en la normatividad estatal.
Está reunión fue co-organizada por el Instituto Electoral de Michoacán y el Tribunal Electoral del Estado de Michoacán, con la presencia del Mtro. Ramón Hernández García, Presidente del IEM, el Magistrado, Omero Valdovinos Mercado, Presidente del TEEM, los Magistrados, Salvador Alejandro Pérez Contreras y José René Olivos Campos, Lic. Nuria Gabriela Hernández Abarca, Secretaria de Igualdad Sustantiva y Desarrollo de las Mujeres y diferentes personalidades, representantes, activistas y defensores de los derechos políticos de las mujeres michoacanas, así como, por el Diputado Fermín Bernabé Bahena, Presidente de la Junta de Coordinación Política del Congreso y la Diputada de Morena, Sandra Luz Valencia.
«Las mujeres han sido pieza importante, en las luchas y transformaciones que ha habido en el país, sin embargo han sido segregadas a la hora de la toma de decisiones en el aspecto político, violentando sus derechos a votar y ser votadas y ahora lo que se pretende en Michoacán, es, garantizar de manera legal y real, una participación de las mujeres, libre de violencia desde del interior de los partidos, como pre-candidatas, como candidatas, ya electas y protestadas», comento la Diputada, Sandra Luz Valencia, al ser entrevistada, al término de la reunión.
A lo largo de mi carrera política, yo también he sido víctima de violencia, por ello considero un compromiso, el de legislar y coadyuvar en favor de la participación de las mujeres en la vida política del Estado, si bien se han logrado grandes avances en materia de igualdad y paridad de género, tenemos que vigilar y ser garantes, de que se respete la normatividad existente para que las mujeres participen libremente y sin temor a ser violentadas, por ocupar un cargo público a nivel Municipal o Estatal, concluyó la Legisladora del Distrito XXIII.
