Apatzingán, Mich., a 22 de agosto de 2019.- Con la firma de un convenio de colaboración, entre el gobierno municipal y la Comisión Estatal de Atención a Víctimas, quedó comprometida la creación de la Unidad Municipal de Atención a Víctimas en Apatzingán, misma que operará a través de la Secretaría del Ayuntamiento.
En un evento en donde estuvieron presentes los presidentes de Aguililla, Parácuaro, Múgica y Tepalcatepec, el alcalde José Luis Cruz Lucatero,destacó que a través de la Unidad Municipal de Atención a Víctimas, se podrá dar un trato más especial a cada caso de víctimas de delito.
Destacó que en la región, los índices de delito son altos, por lo que los municipios deben trabajar de la mano con el gobierno del Estado, en lo que se refiere a la atención jurídica, psicológica y médica de ls víctimas.
De igual manera manifestó su respaldo a todas las acciones del estado y la Federación, para atender a las víctimas de delito, «hay muchas cosas que podemoa hacer como gobierno municipal y las ejecutaremos en coordinación con el DIF, el Instituto de la Mujer y otras dependencias que deben involucrarse en el tema».
Por su parte la titular de la Comisión Estatal de Atención a Víctimas, Cristina Cortés Carrillo, destacó que aunque en la región se cuenta con una unidad para atender a las víctimas, es importabte que cada municipio cuente con la propia, para atender todas las demandas de la ciudadanía.
