Ayer, se cumplieron 206 años, de haberse Proclamado la Independencia de nuestro País, después de tres siglos de dominación Española.

El Congreso de Anáhuac o Congreso de Chilpancingo, el 06 de noviembre de 1813, firmó el Acta Solemne de la Declaración de Independencia de la América Septentrional, redactada por Carlos María de Bustamante.

Al declararse abierta la Sesión del Congreso de Anáhuac, Morelos da lectura a sus «Sentimientos de la Nación» y enfatiza la importancia que tienen los Derechos Humanos y la Libertad, para el desarrollo y consolidación de la Nación. Este es el orígen del Decreto para la Libertad de la América Mexicana, Constitución de Apatzingán de 1814, Sancionado y Promulgado en Apatzingán, el 22 y 24 de octubre del año 1814, respectivamente.
