Apatzingán, Mich., 25 de enero de 2019.- Autoridades municipales, encabezadas por la presidente del DIF Municipal, Minerva Guízar Brito y el regidor de Turismo, Juan Gil Romero, presentaron la programación con motivo del Día de la Candelaria, que se celebrará el próximo 02 de febrero.
Reunidos en la plaza de Santiago Acahuato, bajo el nicho erigido a la Virgen de la Candelaria, los funcionarios municipales invitaron a los apatzinguenses, así como a los habitantes de otros lugares del estado de Michoacán y del país, a que sean parte de la fiesta que tendrá una duración de 9 días.
La presidente del DIF Municipal, señaló que la fiesta del 02 de febrero en Acahuato, es una de las más importantes del municipio, por lo que se ha preparado un amplio programa.
Dijo que la seguridad está garantizada para los visitantes, “queremos que todos aquellos que gustan de venir año con año a Acahuato, sepan que habrá suficientes elementos de seguridad, puestos de vigilancia y operación de Protección Civil, para la tranquilidad de todos”.
Por su parte el regidor Juan Gil Romero, expuso que dentro del programa que se ha preparado, destacan importantes actividades culturales y deportivas, además de las religiosas que han preparado las autoridades eclesiásticas.
De esta manera y por parte de la autoridad municipal el 31 de enero, se llevará a cabo un Torneo Ráfaga de Basquetbol, una peregrinación ciclista para el 01 de febrero, mientras que el Centro Cultural La Estación participará con el programa “Jugandoando”.
A la fiesta de la Candelaria se espera la llegada de unas 20 mil personas, quienes además podrán consumir los artículos que se ofertarán en los puestos que se han instalado.
